Titles management
|
BiblioMaker helps you with sophisticated coherence checks when you catalogue titles of any kind (books, DVDs, serials,...). Several authority files are available to organize your library : classification, subjects, authors, series. Exchange data with other software with help of many export and import formats.

Serials management
|
Register the serials you have subscribed to. If you'd like to make checking of serials easier, enter a numbering scheme for each serial.
Registering each issue is easy, as you only need to identify the serial for which you received an issue and BiblioMaker suggests the issue number.
A barcode label and a circulation list may be stuck on each issue.
Checking that a serial is complete is trivial, as you get warnings if there are missing issues.
Catalogue then the relevant articles. A specific cataloguing template is available.

Download of records from the web
|
Cataloguing is greatly accelerated with the download of records : just scan the preprinted barcode on the book (ISBN) and choose the catalogues you'd like to query. The found record is displayed in your web browser : copy it and paste it to BiblioMaker's cataloguing template.
Of course, only formal data are copied (author, title, publisher, series). It's up to you to enter your own shelf mark and other private information.
