Founded in 1987, Micro Consulting has created the Office Maker and BiblioMaker software products.
Employees
The team is composed of sixteen employees, six of them being developers, four in the support department and two in the quality control and publishing department. All enjoy a particularly pleasant work environment and the majority of executives has been there for more than 10 years.
Philosophy
Micro Consulting is one of the first swiss firms to have developed management software with graphical user interface. The company still has the same goal: create elegant, simple and efficient software.
Originally developed on the Mac OS platform, the software has been available for Windows since for more than fifteen years. The company is always up-to-date with technology and carefully listens to its customers. Its software products have come along seamlessly during the last two decades. Some of our customers still use data entered in their database more then twenty years ago!
Customers
With several hundreds of licenses in Switzerland and worldwide, BiblioMaker is the first cross-platform library system in Switzerland. Our software product is used by libraries of any kind, such as public libraries, school libraries or documentation centres in companies or administrations.

BiblioMaker is user-friendly in spite of its many functions. Its structured OPAC is ideal for training pupils to perform online searches. I find that working with this application is very pleasant.
