Selection of records: freedom at last!

You have complete freedom in selecting the data you want to process.

No more complex filter systems.

You select a record with one click. To select several at the same time, press Shift or Ctrl/Command. You can use the scrollbar to select further records.

Once the records have been highlighted, click the Isolate button to display only those records. Most actions (Modify, Delete, Print) will only apply to the selected records.

Find instantly what you are looking for…

We challenge you not to find what you are looking for! 

Numerous research possibilities are available:

Interestingly, the search formulas can be saved for later reuse, for example from the favorites bar. This way, you can perform the most frequent searches with a single mouse click.

At the top right of the main window, enter a term in the search box and get instantly the related records.

With the Find function, combine several search criteria to find the records more precisely: only the records corresponding to all the search criteria are displayed. You may of course define only one or two criteria for a wider search.

​The Search function is the one that offers you the most advanced searches thanks to the combination of all criteria.


…also without ever touching your keyboard!

Use the Linked records search function to explore the links between the database files and find answers to everyday questions with just a few clicks:

Here are a few examples of searches that you can do very easily:

- Is this title available or loaned?

- Do we have multiple copies of this title?

- What titles from a series or collection do we have?

- What titles do we have in the "English History" section?

- What are the current loans from Professor Smith's class 2B?

- What is the telephone number of the borrower of this title?

A tedious data mutation? Never again.

Make a change on a set of records in one step...

You would like to assign the same value to tens or hundreds of records in a particular field, but hesitate about the depressing prospect of having to modify each card one after the other? Rejoice, we have a solution that will only take a few seconds!

With the Apply command, this operation is done in no time at all: select the records to be modified, call up the Apply command, choose in which field the value is to be applied and start the modification.

Congratulations, you just saved hours of work!


Define as many users as you need and give them access permissions.

Each librarian has his or her own account. Indeed, a large number of the software's preferences are recorded individually by user, who will be able to customize the software according to their work habits.

A user is assigned his or her own permissions. For example, auxiliaries could manage readers and loans, but not modify the catalogue or access confidential data or install software updates.

Authorizations are defined very precisely and simply. In addition, if several users need to have similar permissions, just duplicate an account to copy its permissions.


The software can be used in English, French and German. The interface language can be adapted for each user. Outbound documents can be issued in any language you define.

Select the interface language of the software in this dialog. Thus, in a multilingual library, every librarian can work in his or her mother tongue.

You can also assign a communication language to each reader in the library, so that you can send them correspondence - such as reminders of loans - in their preferred language.

You associate a language to each of the titles in the catalog, which lets you easily find titles written in a particular language. The number of languages to choose from is not limited.

A clear and consistent presentation.

The main window of the software offers a large number of possibilities while keeping a simple interface.

The button bar lets you add, edit or delete records, perform searches and print lists.

On the left, the bookmark bar provides access to the most frequently used items: files, print templates, exports and imports, and search formulas.

The bookmark bar is customizable by adding or deleting bookmarks.

In the main part, the records are displayed as a list. The display of the list is also customizable: you can change the width and order of the columns, add or delete columns, sort the records with a simple click on a column header.

Under a simple appearance, the software has a wealth of functions.

Customizable to your liking.

Arrange the desired columns in the order that suits you. In the favorites bar, on the left, you can choose with a single click which data to display, print, search, export... Of course, the settings are saved for each user.

A presentation as you wish, simply.

In the Standard and PRO versions of BiblioMaker, various editing tools are available to create or modify print or export templates.

For example, you can create a print template for your list of new acquisitions, labels, a list of students in a school's classrooms or reminders.

Editing tools are offered in graphical form and require no programming knowledge. Once you have created a print template, you can reuse it as many times as you want with different content each time.

Automatic updates.

Updating software, a chore... that you can forget.

When the software starts up, it checks whether an update is available and informs the user accordingly. The new features brought by the update are displayed and the user can decide whether to start the installation immediately, later or wait for the next version.

The installation of the update is fully automatic, both in single-user and multi-user versions. A good reason to work with the current version of the software!

A complete and illustrated documentation.

The program is described in a variety of comprehensive documents. They are accessible directly from the software. 

The software is accompanied by a comprehensive reference manual and other documents that make it easy to use.

The manual contains numerous illustrations and links for easy navigation. A detailed index and search function are available to quickly find the information you need.

Documentation is updated when new versions of the software are released.
