How to name a free field

In the Titles and Addresses file, free fields are available if you want to enter data for which no other field fits. By default, no label is displayed in front of these fields in the cataloguing templates. Moreover, you cannot enter a value in these fields as long as they have not been named.

If you want to use these fields, you must enter a label : call the Action>Options command, select the title or address type for which you want to define the free field name and click on "Modify". Define a label in the fields "Free 1", "Free 2", etc.

Please note that you must define this label for each title or address type. It would be possible (but not adviseable) to give several labels to the same free field in several title or address types.
