New in version 7.1 : automated imports and exports

The job scheduler is a useful feature, as it allows you to automate certain tasks such as updating frequencies, sending information emails to readers to encourage them to return documents that are about to expire, etc.


The task scheduler now hosts two new tasks: data import and export.


If you have to repeatedly export or import data using the same export or import format, delegate this task to the job scheduler!


Example : your institution has an employee file (or your school has a student file) that you would like to synchronize with the BiblioMaker reader file. Create a task in the scheduler to import this file in order to update your address file. The task can be executed at the desired frequency: every day, several times a month or a year...
