For many people, cloud computing is a fairly abstract concept: basically, where is the data stored?

Would you like to see what a datacenter with hundreds or thousands of servers looks like? This video gives you a good idea. And bonus: this is a datacenter belonging to the Swiss company Infomaniak, which hosts our servers.

Another bonus: this datacenter under construction has the unique feature of recovering the heat generated by the servers and re-injecting it into the city of Geneva's hot water network, putting it at the cutting edge of ecology worldwide! Just imagine: to supply the same energy in wood pellets, 180 trucks a year would be needed.
